Lawyer, political scientist and sociologist whose career has focused on human rights, public policy and disaster risk management. She brings experience from the public and private sectors, civil society, international organizations and highly complex reparation processes.
She was Director for the Promotion of Human Rights at the Special Secretariat for Human Rights of the Office of the President of Brazil and Human Rights Manager at the Renova Foundation, in the reparation of the Rio Doce basin. She also served as an international consultant for the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on human rights and public policy projects.
She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Brasília, with research on disaster risk management and disaster law and a study period at the University of Bremen, Germany. Her work combines academic training, institutional experience and the ability to build bridges, helping organizations understand complex contexts and shape strategies, policies and processes that protect rights, prevent risks and build more resilient responses.
